So, the tests all went amazingly well. We had an ultrasound which showed that we indeed had a baby swimming around in there dancing up a storm. Sprout has all 10 fingers and toes (adorable) and also has a really strong heart and brain. The heart beats were anywhere from 140 - 150 beats a minute.
All of the old mama tests came back incredible - in case anyone has any need to know the specifics:
- Downs Syndrome Risk was less than 1 in 12,000 (my age bracket is given 1 in 200)
- Trisomy 18 was less than 1 in 100,000 (my age bracket was given 1 in 100)
- Other chromosomal abnormalities is less than 1 in 10,000 (my age bracket was given 1 in 250)
- Neural Tube Defect was negative.
Also, while doing laundry late on Sunday night we BOTH felt the baby move. It was amazing. Of course I have a bruise from where I pushed Dave's hand into my belly so he could feel but ... eh!
